Entender tu factura es el primer paso para ahorrar

To contract energy with YPF Luz and simulate your savings with Enertoken, it's important to know some key information from your electricity bill. You don't need to be an expert: we'll explain it simply.

The most important information on your bill

1) Energy consumption (kWh or MWh): This is the total amount of energy you consume in a given period (usually monthly).

This data allows you to estimate:

  • Your annual consumption profile
  • The volume of energy to be contracted
  • The potential savings with a term contract

📌 You will see it expressed as kWh or MWh.

2) Contracted power (kW): Indicates the maximum power your company can demand at the same time.

It is key for:

  • Defining the type of contract
  • Evaluating power needs and backup
  • Analyzing optimization opportunities

📌 It usually appears as "Contracted power" or "Maximum demand".

3) Energy price: This is the value you pay for each unit of energy consumed.

In the traditional scheme, this price may vary depending on:

  • Seasonality
  • Regulations
  • Market changes

👉 With YPF Luz, you can access fixed-price contracts, which give you predictability throughout the year.

Enertoken is YPF Luz's digital platform that allows you to simulate, contract and manage electricity 100% online, with blockchain traceability and security. The main advantage is its simplicity: from a single place you can estimate savings, sign contracts and track consumption, billing and reports, without manual processes or unnecessary intermediaries.

Yes. Through the Enertoken simulator, you can estimate your costs and potential savings based on your annual consumption profile. This allows you to make decisions with clear, advance information.

It means having a term contract with a predictable price, without seasonal variations.

This allows you to better plan your energy costs, reduce exposure to market volatility and gain financial predictability.

In a term contract, clear commitments are established between both parties to ensure predictability and compliance. On one hand, the generator is obligated to deliver a certain amount of energy during the agreed period: if the client does not consume all of that energy, its availability is still guaranteed (this is known as "delivery or pay"). On the other hand, the client commits to paying for that amount of energy, regardless of whether they consume it in full or not (known as "take or pay"). This way, both parties can plan their operations and energy costs with greater certainty, avoiding surprises due to changes in consumption or supply.
